I am a highly experienced software developer and architect, with over 15 years experience developing websites, web services, smart client applications, and mobile applications. I have experience with front and back end development, but find work on the front end to be most fulfilling.

My career has spanned the spectrum from design to development. I have contributed my knowledge and experience with Microsoft technologies to solutions in several industries including the education, entertainment, health care, manufacturing, retail, insurance and financial industries.

Currently specializing in mobile applications for the Windows, iOS, and Android platforms, as well as mobile web using HTML 5 and responsive design, I attribute my successes to staying current with technology trends and taking a user-centric approach to developing solutions. I have a strong understanding of user interface design, modern software design patterns, service-oriented architectures and object-oriented design.

Tweedism: what's really wrong with US democracy

Your Vote Doesn't Count I know this isn't a popular opinion. It's certainly not constructive on the surface. But it's a fact. Not really because of the electoral college or district gerrymandering -- although those are downstream problems -- but because by the time you get to exercise your right to vote, the candidates and issues have already been decided by the people with money, before any primary. It's called Tweedism. This is why sensible gun control hasn't and won't happen. "I don't care who does the electing, as long as I get to do the nominating."
